Parent or guardian involvement
A player under 18 must not create or publish a CPP profile independently. The request and profile information must be supplied or approved by a parent, legal guardian or properly authorised adult representative.
For children under the applicable age of digital consent—including under 14 in Spain and under 13 where the United States COPPA rules apply—CPP requires verifiable involvement and permission from a parent or legal guardian before collecting or publishing personal information.
Information we do not publish
CPP does not intentionally publish a minor’s home address, personal phone number, exact date of birth, personal email address, government identification, live location or unmoderated direct contact details. Families should not submit this information unless CPP specifically requests it through a secure and necessary process.
Public and protected information
With appropriate permission, the public directory may show limited recruiting information such as name, photograph, country, age category, graduation year and DUPR ratings. More detailed athletic, academic and personal information is placed in the protected profile area.
Protected access is reviewed by CPP. University representatives may receive broader recruiting access, while parents, players and other coaches may be restricted to profiles specifically linked to their account.
Photographs and videos
Photographs and videos must be appropriate for an athletic or academic profile and supplied with the necessary permission. Media must not reveal unnecessary location, school schedule, contact details or other information that could create a safeguarding risk.
CPP may crop, resize or decline media that is unsuitable, poor quality or inconsistent with player safety. A parent or guardian may request removal by emailing CPP.
Contact with junior players
Coaches, recruiters and other authorised users must communicate through a parent, guardian, authorised coach or another approved adult channel. Users must not use CPP to initiate secret, inappropriate or coercive communication with a minor.
Any safeguarding concern may result in immediate access suspension while CPP reviews the situation.
Consent, review and removal
Consent must be specific to the information and media being provided. CPP may request proof that the person authorising a profile is entitled to act for the player. Families may ask to correct, hide or remove profile information at any time by contacting info@collegepickleballpathway.com.
Reporting a concern
Report suspected misuse, inaccurate information, unwanted contact or a safeguarding concern immediately to info@collegepickleballpathway.com. Include the player or profile concerned and enough information for CPP to investigate, but do not email unnecessary sensitive documents.
CPP may preserve relevant records, restrict access and refer a matter to the appropriate platform, sports organisation or public authority when reasonably necessary to protect a child or comply with law.
Shared responsibility
CPP applies privacy-by-design controls, but safeguarding also depends on families and authorised users. Parents should regularly review published information, players should report uncomfortable interactions, and coaches must follow their institution’s safeguarding rules and professional standards.
