Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Alejandro de la Torre, operating College Pickleball Pathway (“CPP”) as an individual professional based in Madrid, Spain.

Information we collect
Depending on how you use CPP, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information, such as name, email, country, role and organisation.
- Player profile information, such as photographs, city and country, graduation year, age category, DUPR information, sporting history, videos, results and upcoming tournaments.
- Academic information supplied for recruiting purposes, such as school, current grade, GPA, test results and study interests.
- Parent, guardian or authorised coach details and records of consent.
- Access-request, account, authorisation and audit information.
- Messages, profile requests and other information submitted through forms or email.
- Technical and security information necessary to operate and protect the website.
We ask users not to submit health information, government identifiers, home addresses or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Why we use information
We use personal information to create and manage player and university profiles; review access requests; connect authorised participants in the college recruiting process; respond to enquiries; publish consented profile information; protect minors; maintain security; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on one or more of the following: consent, including parental or guardian consent where required; steps requested before entering into or performing a service; CPP’s legitimate interests in operating a secure recruiting platform; and compliance with legal obligations.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Publication and access
Public player cards may contain only information approved for publication, such as name, photograph, country, graduation year and sporting ratings. Full player profiles are access-controlled and may be limited to approved parents, players, coaches or university representatives.
Approval to access one profile does not authorise access to any other profile. Users must not copy, republish or use profile information for unrelated purposes.
Who receives information
Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, email delivery, website forms and security. They may process information only to provide their services and subject to appropriate contractual and security safeguards.
Profile information may be shared with authorised users according to the permissions granted by CPP. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
CPP serves an international recruiting community and some authorised users or service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where required, CPP will rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we retain information
Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purpose collected and for applicable legal, security or dispute-resolution requirements. Access requests and related audit records may be retained after a decision to document who was authorised. Player information is removed or restricted when consent is withdrawn, the profile is no longer required or CPP determines that publication is no longer appropriate.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
To exercise a right, email info@collegepickleballpathway.com. CPP may request reasonable information to verify identity and authority, particularly when a request concerns a minor.
Security and updates
CPP uses access controls, restricted administration, audit records and other reasonable technical and organisational measures. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users must also protect their sign-in account and report suspected misuse promptly.
This policy may be updated as the platform, applicable law or service providers change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
